Oil on Linen

Michael talked of his late father’s Alzheimer’s and attachment to the cathedral in Spain, because of this and to symbolise his Spanish roots, I wanted this to be part of the background. Michael himself was very attached to and interested in the history of his home, so this was included. The Houses of Parliament can be seen just going off the canvas, symbolising his pursuit of a new career.
